How to Use This Tile Calculator

Our free tile calculator determines how many tiles you need for any floor or wall project. Enter your room dimensions and tile size for an accurate count including waste factor.

Tile is sold by the square foot, but our calculator also shows individual tile count so you know exactly how many boxes to purchase.

The calculator adds a waste factor (10-15%) for cuts, breakage, and pattern matching. For diagonal installations, increase to 20%.
